Fundação Oswaldo Cruz

Fiocruz is the main non-university institution for the training and qualification of personnel for the Unified Health System (SUS) and for the area of science and technology in health in Brazil. Its students come from all regions of the country and also from abroad, especially from Latin America and Portuguese-speaking Africa.

Its programs are offered at the various Units of Fiocruz, at the graduate level – masters’ and doctorate degrees with academic and professional programs; specialization degrees and residency (medical and multiprofessional); Professional Education: initial, continued, and Technical Training of Middle Level and Education of Youth and Adults.
